UppsalaLocated about 45 kilometers (72 kilometers) to the North of Stockholm, Uppsala is the 4th most populous city in Sweden. As of 2005, Uppsala had a population of 128,409. The city is famous for both it ecclestiastical center, and its university. Uppsala has been the seat of Sweden's archbishop since 1164, and Uppsala University, which was founded in 1477, is the oldest still existing in the whole of Scandinavia.
